JONESBOROUGH- Roger Hughes Ingle, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Friday (May 20, 2016) at the Johnson City Medical Center . Mr. Ingle was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked at Eastman chemical Company for 30 years as a lab analyst. Roger was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather and lived to support his family while enjoying watching them accomplish their dreams. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert H. and Pauline Ingle and an infant son. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Opal Faye Ingle; children, David Roy Ingle and wife Kelly, Angelia Adams and husband, Ted, Christy White and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, LaRae Ganger, Matthew Ingle, Joe Ganger, Justin White, Emily Adams, Malcolm White, Hunter Adams, and Alex Ingle, aunt, Mary Alice Irwin, and special friend, Eddie Arnold. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church, Johnson City. A memorial service will follow in the church sanctuary with Rev, Jim Chapman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 3101 Browns Mill Rd, #6, Johnson City, TN 37604.
